The production and development of Ethnologue would not be possible without the cooperation and participation of a multitude of contributors over the last seven decades. We have benefited from the contributions of researchers, language fieldworkers, and members of language communities who have freely given their time and expertise to improve the accuracy and quality of the data. We are grateful to those who have joined our team of Field Contributors, as well as to a growing number of Ethnologue users who contribute valuable input directly through the website. Find out more.

We are pleased to introduce you to just a few of the more than 2,500 individuals who help keep us updated with the latest data and statistics.

• Renhard Saupia

  Renhard has been a contributor since 2019 and has contributed 48 times. Renhard is focused on the languages of Indonesia.

• Jean Pacquement

  Jean has been a contributor since 2021 and has contributed 36 times. Jean has been a minority language researcher for over 30 years and is focused on the Tai languages of Southeast Asia.

• Nate Cheeseman

  Nate has been a contributor since 2010 and has contributed over 2800 times. Nate has been a minority language researcher for over 19 years and is focused on the languages of Southeast Asia.

• Antoine Dusséaux

  Antoine has been a contributor since 2021 and has contributed 672 times. Antoine is a language enthusiast and active contributor to Ethnologue and Wikipedia.

• Jennifer Runner

  Jennifer has been a contributor since 2015 and has contributed 105 times. Jennifer is a language enthusiast and teacher.

• Simon Malesan-Jordaney

  Simon has been a contributor since 2022 and has contributed 15 times. Simon is a native speaker of Arpitan.
